Everything below is a real Google review, pulled straight from our Google Business Profile. We do not edit them, and we do not hide the ones we would rather you did not read.

If you are deciding between studios, the reviews worth reading are the specific ones: how the consultation went, whether the quote held, how the tattoo healed, and how we behaved when something needed putting right. Our lifetime warranty exists for that last part.

Had the best experience with Erik! ❤️ He made me feel so comfortable, and I absolutely love my tattoo! It’s not just ink, it’s a story on my skin. Thank you, Erik, for making my tattoo dreams come true! Now, who's stopping me from getting another one? 😂 Highly recommend!👍🏼-Armi

Cannot find a single complaint about this place - was my first tattoo, was pretty nervous but Yev was great about what I wanted and helped me through the process. They provided second skin which has made aftercare very easy and offered to touch up free of charge if any ink ran- will definitely be coming back here for more, recommend, recommend, recommend.

I got my first tattoo from Alex yesterday and I couldn’t be happier with the result! I had been a fan of Alex’s work prior to booking a consultation and I was absolutely blown away by the care and creativity he put in to the entire process from the initial sketches all the way up to the execution. It was quite a big piece, and I really appreciated Alex’s willingness to stay late and give it the time and dedication it deserved. Awesome guy, incredible artist and the shop itself is fantastic. Highly recommend!

FIRST TATTOO. A lifelong Vancouver senior I decided to get a tattoo. Live in Kits and after preliminary research contacted NORTH INK. First sent a brief note via Facebook and received a prompt reply from Sonya. We spoke on the phone then the next day I visited the studio, met Sonya and make an appointment for the following week. My first tattoo is simple and small on my inside bicep. It took Sonya about an hour and the entire experience was very positive. Located near West 4th & MacDonald, I would recommend them fully, based on my initial experience. Thanks again.

Highly professional, clean environment. Good energy. Extremely attentive and flexible with instructions and details to create the perfect tattoo for your desires. I worked with Anna, however I saw nothing but professionalism in each of the artists working that day. Go to North Ink!

I had my very first tattoo experience at North Ink Tattoo, and I’m so happy I chose this place! ❤️A special thank you to my tattoo artist, Alex, for making my first tattoo such a wonderful and memorable experience. From the very beginning, Alex was incredibly patient, taking the time to listen to my ideas, communicate every detail clearly, and offer thoughtful and professional advice.Since it was my first tattoo, I was definitely a little nervous, but Alex’s patience, attention to detail, and gentle approach made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. Most importantly, I absolutely love how my tattoo turned out! It’s more than just a tattoo to me—it’s something meaningful that I’ll carry with me for a long time.Thank you, Alex, for making my first tattoo experience so special. If I ever decide to get another one, I’ll definitely be coming back! 🥰Highly recommend North Ink Tattoo and Alex! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was recommended to seek out Alex to help integrate three other tattoos on my arm. He was very approachable, listened to my wishes and came up with good suggestions. On the day for the tattoo, he continued to make suggestions for improving the overall integration work and while it took over 2 hours to do the placement of the tattoo, the end result was perfect. Alex worked my arm for the rest of the day and continually check in on me and gave breaks.... at 10pm that day the work was done. I am very impressed with Alex's skills, his dedication to perfection for his art. Thank you so much!!

North Ink Tattoo Studio is simply amazing! 🖤 We were on vacation in Canada, and on our second-to-last day I spontaneously decided to get a tattoo. Luckily, I was able to get a last-minute appointment. The entire North Ink team is incredibly friendly and welcoming – I felt comfortable right away. Thank you so much for the amazing work and for making such a wonderful ending to our vacation! 🫶🇨🇦

I had an excellent experience getting a tattoo from Yev. He's steady, precise, and efficient. My tattoo looks great and it was an overall chill experience. Definitely recommend, especially to people that it's their first tattoo. He has a light hand, which is ideal for someone like me with hypermobile skin. Will definitely be getting inked here again in the future.
