Lifetime Tattoo Warranty

Every tattoo done at North Ink carries a lifetime warranty. If your tattoo does not heal the way it should, we will fix it, free of charge, for as long as you have it.

What the warranty covers

• Free touch-ups on work done at North Ink, with no extra charge.
• Correcting areas that have not healed the way they should.
• No time limit. The warranty lasts for the life of the tattoo.

What it does not cover

• Natural ink spread as the tattoo ages.
• Sun damage and fading caused by UV exposure.
• Tattoos placed on areas we advise against, which includes lips, hands, fingers and feet. Skin there regenerates quickly and takes constant wear, so ink breaks up however well the tattoo is done. We will still do the work if you want it, we just tell you up front.
• Work done by another studio. We are glad to look at it, but corrections to someone else’s tattoo are quoted separately after a free consultation.

How to claim

Get in touch and tell us which artist did the work and roughly when. A photo of the healed tattoo helps. We will book you in with the artist who did the original piece wherever possible.

Looking after it

Healing is most of the result. Follow the aftercare your artist gives you, keep the tattoo out of direct sun, and come to us first if anything looks wrong rather than waiting. Our tattoo healing guide walks through the whole process step by step.
